State Tested Nurse Aides are the front line of care in nursing homes, assisted living, hospitals, group homes and other home health agencies in the community. They interact directly with residents, assisting with their activities of daily living. STNAs become close with their residents. They assist with bathroom needs, dressing, vital signs, eating, and other personal care needs. STNAs assist nurses with wound care and assists the nurse with procedures.
